This series smashed all my expectations to pieces. There's a shocking attention to detail to Christian lore that most series skip over, and they don't shy away from the serious topics involving the church. Each of the 7 Sins gets a seriously compelling character arc, resulting in the MC's worldview evolving in a profound way. Obviously none of this is bible canon, but it does a fantastic job of exploring the nature of sin while also aura farming hard with gorgeous fight scenes and climactic mome

Twilight zone, but most of the endings are 'bad' endings. Sometimes cathartic but it feels like the author is just bullying us, the reader. 6/10, 8/10 when it deals with legit plot stuff though.

SO good. On the right and middle sides we also learn the following: 1. We are 100% post appocalyptic setting. Most probably nuclear fallout. As for the star they reached for, possibly the mother flame, which is why it's two different kinds of 'fire' being mentioned. 2. The god of the land and the g

I think he's just allocating roles. He needs a mage, but not sure where the mage is coming from yet.

↳ you: “Depends on if you are referring to cringeness or homosexuality. In terms of cringeness, the setting and premise might seem cringe at first, but then it actually puts in work to make the setting feel lived in and charming despite the creepiness. The tournament itself is played pretty straight, and it reads more like a heavily upscaled Robot Wars with actual good prizes and sponsorship opportunities. The stakes are there because the 'robot' in this case is sentient, so it's like trying to win Robot Wars with Walle. The most cringe aspect is possibly the MC's daddy issues, but it's actually a good part of the story. In terms of wokeness, main characters are straight and there's some strong romance afoot. MC does eventually get 1 singular fan that obsesses with the MC's face quite literally, but it's mostly played for comedy. There's one dude that does look like a girl, but he's straight too. Also adds comedy. I personally think it's pretty good. About 3/10 max on the ghaaay scale” (5 likes)

hmsong: “This is so inconsistent. If the balance is forced upon all characters, then by definition, one shouldn't be faster than the other. And it was explicitly said that the balance was force on items and equipments too, meaning no item is greater than the other. And that means, MC ought to have the advantage, because he has more NUMBER on his side. Sure, the enemy guy has more experience than the party members, but MC has even more experience than the enemy guy. This should have been a piece of cake.” (2 likes) [view]
↳ you: “The essences are what make the difference. Dragon dude has 7+ while our squad only has that many between all of them, maybe. Each one has powers that are separate from stat boosts.” (8 likes)

↳ you: “This is litterally untrue. There are multiple instances where Encrid gets to see the fruits of his labour. He jumps several ranks fighting normal soldiers and gets the recognition he deserves several times. He works out constantly with Brother. Dude's earned his stripes.” (4 likes)

↳ Uhhhhh: “I think Rafiel’s death knight is the organizer. He probably killed rafiel after gaining sentience or something because there was a lot of foreshadowing over knights gaining sentience. It also makes sense i think cause he says he’s getting better at being human. Not only nothing is know by his birth, probably because he was never born but reanimated.” (10 likes)
you: “Wow, I totally forgot this guy was 15 in this! Man, there really wasn't much time from his training arc to his NOW arc, huh? He must only be a couple years older in the cannon story...” (3 likes) [view]
↳ Dootius: “If I remember right, he's been an adventurer for 5 years in the main story. The crazy thing to think about is that in this story, he's the same age the Priestess was when she signed up. Kinda makes sense he gets the reputation he eventually does, to do even half the things he's done so far mostly solo, with a bit of help from the mentors from the other arcs.” (4 likes)
