It was a group of adventures that saw a plant girl monster that lulls them to sleep and kills them, but the rest of the party won't let the main guy kill it. He then goes back behind their backs and it turns out she is a delinquent, not a nice girl, and so he kills her and gets beat by his party for it.
"Hardcore leveling warrior", "Teenage mercenary", "Overgeared", "I get stronger the more I eat"are all ones that I really hate because of how unlikable the main character is, how Overpowered they are, and how painfully predictable they are. Sci fi isn't nearly as big as Fantasy, though there is "Reborn as a Space Mercenary", though even then it is Space Fantasy, with dwarves making spaceships and the like. You are right, there should be more, but alas it isn't big in Asian countries I guess.
