Part 1 was good. Unfortunately making manga is no easy task , and sometimes publishers are the problem most of the time. For example Sui Ishida , Shueisha literally was on his ass for weekly/monthly chapters and he as a mangaka was very very stressed out by how the publishers treated him. All in all in the end he views TG as a failure , which most fans disagree it was definitely rushed.
